Effective date: 13 October 2026
This policy explains how BOLMOL handles information when you use bolmol.com, public profiles, posts and comments, public store and product pages, the comment widget, and related services. BOLMOL is a user-content and product-discovery service. Store owners and other users provide much of the content shown on the site.
1. Information we handle
- Account and profile information: name, username, email address, verified phone number, avatar, profile text, language, and account settings received or entered during account use.
- Content and activity: posts, comments, replies, share actions and shared links, reports, likes, dislikes, follows, and the pages or products involved in those actions. If you upload media, we handle the image or video file and the processing information needed to upload, convert, store, and display it (for example, a video preview image).
- Store and catalog information: store name and public contact details, website and verification state, target country, XML feed URL, product names and attributes, prices, availability, product links, and images supplied by the store owner or feed.
- Technical and security data: IP address or a derived network value, browser and device details, request timestamps, language, time zone, approximate country, and security or abuse-prevention events.
- Support and legal reports: the information and evidence you send when contacting support, reporting content, or making a privacy, copyright, or product-safety request.
2. How we use information
We use it to create and secure accounts; publish and display profiles, posts, comments, replies, shared links, images, and videos; process uploaded media (including image resizing and video conversion or preview generation where enabled); deliver and cache content through our hosting and CDN providers; import and refresh store feeds; generate and scan outbound links; count views and interactions; deliver requested notifications; personalize language and discovery results; prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents; respond to reports and legal requests; maintain service reliability; and meet legal obligations.
3. Public information and external websites
Information you publish or share through a public profile, post, comment, reply, image, video, store, or product listing can be viewed by visitors and may be copied, downloaded, screenshotted, indexed, or cached by other users, search engines, or other services. Sharing a link or another user's material does not make you its owner or mean BOLMOL endorses it. Do not publish personal or confidential information unless you have a lawful basis and are comfortable making it public. Removing content from BOLMOL may not remove copies held elsewhere. Product links take visitors to an independent website. That site's operator controls its checkout, privacy practices, cookies, delivery, returns, and customer support.
4. Cookies and device storage
BOLMOL uses first-party cookies needed for login, session security, cross-site request protection, two-factor sign-in, and language preference. The current first-party application does not load the analytics and advertising trackers previously named on this page. If optional analytics or advertising storage is introduced, BOLMOL will update this notice and request consent where applicable law requires it. See the Cookie Policy for cookie names and controls.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We may disclose the minimum information needed to providers that host or secure the service, deliver content through our CDN, process sign-in, send email or SMS, or help us respond to support requests. Those providers process information to provide their services under their own terms and applicable agreements. We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect people or the service, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable law.
6. International processing
BOLMOL and its service providers may process information in countries other than yours. The safeguards and legal grounds for a particular transfer depend on your location and the provider involved. Contact [email protected] for information about a specific transfer.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep information while an account, store, listing, or service feature remains active and for as long as needed for security, moderation, dispute handling, legal obligations, and reliable backups. When content or an account is deleted, it is removed from public view as the deletion process applies. Restricted copies may remain for a limited period in backups or records needed for the purposes above, and may be retained longer where law requires. We do not promise immediate removal from third-party caches or search engines.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You can edit some account and store details in settings. To make a privacy request, email [email protected] and identify the account or store concerned. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity and will respond under the rules that apply to your request.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including session controls, access restrictions, abuse checks, and encryption where supported by the relevant connection or provider. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private and contact [email protected] if you find a security issue.
10. Children
BOLMOL is not designed for children and does not knowingly seek personal information from children below the minimum age required to use the service in their location. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact [email protected].
11. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised version here and change its effective date. Contact [email protected] for privacy requests, [email protected] for legal notices, or [email protected] for account help. This notice does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
