How do notifications work on BOLMOL?

Thread participants — anyone who has commented in the last 30 days — receive a notification when a new comment arrives on a thread they follow. Mentions with @username notify that user directly. On bolmol.com, follows, likes on your posts, and replies to your comments also generate notifications. You can manage non-transactional notifications from your account settings.
