Does the widget slow down my site?

The embed script is asynchronous and loads after your page is interactive, so it does not block rendering. It is a small vanilla JavaScript bundle with no jQuery, no Bootstrap, and no third-party runtime dependencies. The widget requests are cached and served from a dedicated CDN hostname. The widget reads the page, resolves the thread, and renders the comment list once — there is no polling and no background refresh.
